Game On! Team Tabletop Game Design Challenge
Description
During this 5-day program, teams of 4th and 5th graders will work together to create one tabletop game! Participate in daily afternoon sessions from 3-5 pm starting on Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14. A game showcase for designers' families will conclude the series on August 14 at 5 pm. Participants who complete the challenge will receive a swag bag of game design materials, including cut foam board, dice, an EPL tote bag and more! For children Grades 4 & 5. Registration required for the entire series
Each session will provide kids the opportunity to:
- Evaluate common games using game design instruction
- Play games
- Participate in team-building activities
- Collaborate with teams to plan game designs
- Engineer and create tabletop games with various materials
- Take breaks and have snacks
