The Dangers and Risks of Caregiving and the Imperative of Self-Care

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Main Library

Description

Join us for this presentation from Dasha Kiper, Director of Caregiver Support at Renewal Memory Partners.
Caregivers are always told to take care of themselves. But this piece of advice is much more difficult than it appears. In fact, sometimes self-care can feel like yet another item on a long to-do list. In this presentation, we examine the brain science of what makes self-care so challenging. Through this lens, we will re-imagine what a more gentle and sustainable approach to self-care looks like.
