Events › Tale Spin: A Storytelling Workshop Series

Do you love acting? Do you love storytelling? Team up with fellow theater-loving kids and spin a fairy tale into a newly told story. In this storytelling workshop series, 5th and 6th graders will write, act, direct, design, and perform their own fairy tale play. Participate in daily afternoon sessions from 1-3 pm starting on Tuesday, July 28 through Saturday, August 1. A public showcase performance will conclude the series on August 1st. For children Grades 5th and 6th. Registration for this series is required.

Children who participate in this series will experience:

• Improv and icebreaker games
• Expert creative writing instruction 
• Beginner prop-making 
• Storytelling fundaments 
• Problem-solving and leadership skills
• Gluten-free snacks, fun and more!
