Events › Legal Clinic: Transfer on Death Instrument (TODI)

Attorneys from CARPLS, a legal aid non-profit serving Cook County, will be on-site to provide free legal assistance to homeowners to create a TODI - a simple, cost-effective way to ensure that your home is passed down to your chosen beneficiaries without the hassle of probate. CARPLS will prepare, notarize, and record the TODI on your behalf.

4 STEPS YOU MUST DO TO PARTICIPATE AND COMPLETE TODI CLINIC:

2. Attend ZOOM webinar
   • Thursday, April 16th, 6:30pm
   • Login sent to registered participants
3. Collect, complete and submit requested forms to CARPLS
4. Attend in-person clinic:
   • Thursday, April 30th, 5-7pm
   • Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave., 3rd Floor
