Description

We explore the brain science of how family dynamics (between caregiver and care receiver) make communication so hard and then dive into some tips to ease the hurdles.

Presenter Dasha Kiper earned her master's in clinical psychology at Columbia University. Her personal experience as a professional care partner truly put her on the path to supporting families affected by dementia disorders.
For over a decade she has counseled caregivers, led support groups, and trained and supervised mental health professionals.

This program is presented in partnership with Renewal Memory Partners and Dementia Friendly Evanston.
