Join us for self-study language conversation practice and intercultural exchange! Please bring your own study materials or anything else you use to practice the language you are studying.

How It Works

- Participants engage in casual conversation with each other to help build comfort and understanding in a variety of languages.
- Participants should bring their own study materials, books, etc. to practice with. We will have some books for select languages available but we cannot guarantee we will have study materials specific to what language you are studying.
- At this time we cannot guarantee any specific languages (languages spoken depend entirely on attendees) but the more people the more flexibility!
- This location will offer a separate ESL for Spanish Speakers practice that includes accent reduction/English pronunciation practice with a librarian. This is not a formal ESL class; this should be seen as a form of practice with individuals of similar English-learning levels.

¿Cómo funciona?

- Los participantes entablan conversaciones informales para ayudar a familiarizarse y prácticar una variedad de idiomas.

- Los participantes deben traer su propio material de estudio, libros, etc. para practicar. Tendremos algunos libros de ciertas idiomas disponibles, pero no podemos garantizar que tengamos material de estudio sobre el idioma que esté estudiando.

- En este momento, no podemos garantizar ningún idioma específico (los idiomas hablados dependen completamente de los asistentes).

- Esta ubicación ofrecerá una práctica de ESL para hispanohablantes que incluye reducción de acento/práctica de pronunciación en inglés con un bibliotecario. Esta no es una clase formal de ESL; el cafe de lenguaje debe verse como un lugar para prácticar con personas de niveles de ingles similares.
